About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all onboarding activities including scheduling, paperwork, and new hire communication
- Support training initiatives by scheduling, tracking attendance, and managing materials
- Maintain employee personnel files, medical files, and compliance documentation
- Update employee information in HRIS and provide general administrative support
- Assist with employee relations documentation and note-taking
- Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding onboarding and HR procedures
- Post communication materials throughout the plant
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources or administrative support
- Associate degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or high-volume production environments
- Experience supporting training or onboarding programs
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms
- Familiarity with union and non-union workplaces
