HR Consultant

Responsibilities

• Support operational and strategic human resources needs for clients within the OREP portfolio
• Provide advice on employment policies, practices, and procedures, including employee and labour relations
• Advise on recruitment, job design, job evaluation, and salary administration
• Guide clients through complex organizational change, restructuring, and conflict resolution
• Interpret and apply collective agreements, the Employment Standards Act, and the Human Rights Code
• Contribute to attendance and disability management as part of a cross-functional team
• Maintain administrative systems including organizational charts and job descriptions
• Support strategic initiatives and special projects while guiding junior staff

Requirements

• University degree in a relevant discipline
• CHRP designation or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible human resources experience
• Demonstrated experience advising on collective agreements and employment legislation
• In-depth experience in recruitment, job evaluation, and labour relations
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience using HRIS or similar systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting workplace investigations
