Responsibilities
- Process incoming wage garnishment orders and coordinate with payroll
- Respond to unemployment claims and maintain complete case records
- Administer Form I-9 and E-Verify processes, including document review and audits
- Complete employment verification requests and handle state-specific reporting
- Maintain compliance data in HRIS and generate routine reports
- Respond to worker questions regarding compliance processes
- Develop SOPs and leverage AI tools to improve workflow efficiency
Requirements
- 1-2 years in administrative, payroll, HR support, or compliance-adjacent roles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers and forms
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and HRIS or payroll platforms
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with multi-state employment regulations
- Experience supporting temporary, contingent, or hourly workforce populations
