HR Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to leaders and employees to align people strategies with operational objectives.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
• Advise management on workforce planning, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including California regulations, and company policies.
• Support talent management initiatives including succession planning, employee development, and recruitment.
• Manage employment-based immigration matters, including work authorization and visa sponsorship compliance.
• Lead or participate in HR projects, change management, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner.
• Strong expertise in employee relations, workplace investigations, and performance management.
• Working knowledge of California employment laws and regulations.
• Experience supporting employment-based immigration matters and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing or high-tech environment.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or unionized environment.
