HR Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to identify strategic issues, workforce planning needs, and organizational design challenges.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing guidance on employee engagement, retention, talent development, and succession planning.
• Manage various HR disciplines including employee relations, performance management, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Facilitate training sessions for managers and employees to support organizational goals.
• Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams and HR service centers to implement programs and ensure accurate employee transactions.
• Promote a positive work environment and champion the employee experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related HR work experience.
• Strong proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
• Ability to travel to other Stantec offices as needed.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPHR certification.
• Prior experience operating within a matrixed global organization.
• Experience working within a geographically dispersed team.
