About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR contact for Pizza Hut Germany, managing the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
  • Serve as the in-market subject matter expert on German employment law (including AZG, BetrVG, AGG, KSchG, and TzBfG)
  • Partner with the Germany General Manager and senior leaders on workforce planning, talent, and organizational effectiveness
  • Own end-to-end monthly payroll for Germany in partnership with external providers, ensuring statutory compliance
  • Manage the German benefits portfolio, including occupational pensions (bAV) and health provisions
  • Oversee Time & Attendance (T&A) systems to ensure compliance with German working time regulations
  • Manage Betriebsrat (works council) relations, including consultation and co-determination obligations
  • Localize and deliver global/regional HR initiatives, such as engagement surveys, DEI programs, and performance management

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of HR generalist or HR Business Partner experience, with substantial experience in Germany
  • In-depth knowledge of German employment law and compliance requirements
  • Proven experience managing German payroll and benefits administration
  • Experience working with Time & Attendance systems and managing working time compliance
  • Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is essential
  • Experience working within a matrix organization or a fast-paced consumer-facing environment (QSR, hospitality, or retail) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in HR, Business, or Law
  • CIPD or German equivalent qualification (e.g., geprüfter Personalfachkaufmann/-frau)
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or Workday
