HR Business Partner - Operations

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive people and HR/IR focus areas aligned with business and People strategies
• Act as a member of the factory management team to contribute to strategic objectives
• Conduct talent reviews and create development plans for high-potential employees
• Manage succession planning and maintain updated succession matrices
• Design and implement annual training calendars and competency frameworks
• Support the performance management cycle, including goal setting and appraisals
• Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve retention
• Lead union negotiations and implement Long-Term Wage Settlements
• Manage grievance procedures, complaints, and complex industrial relations issues
• Ensure statutory compliance and manage relationships with local government authorities

Requirements

• Post-Graduation or Masters in MBA or Personnel Management
• 10-15 years of relevant HR experience
• Minimum 7 years of proven experience in Employee Relations and Industrial Relations
• Strong experience in union handling and negotiation
• In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and core HR processes
• Experience in training, competency mapping, and succession planning
• Proficiency in MS Excel, HRIS, and reporting tools
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Brownfield and Greenfield setups or projects
• Strong ability to influence and a proven track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships
