HR Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate selection, contract negotiations, and onboarding.
• Act as the primary company representative in negotiations and discussions with the works council.
• Oversee payroll coordination, including accurate data submission to external providers and managing time tracking/absences.
• Support performance management cycles, including appraisals, bonus processes, and employee exits.
• Coordinate professional training initiatives and support talent management and succession planning.
• Ensure all HR activities comply with German labor law and the Works Constitution Law (Betriebsverfassungsgesetz).
• Support HR budgeting and contribute to continuous process improvements and HR projects.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Human Resources, or a comparable field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally within an international or multinational environment.
• Practical experience working with works councils and solid knowledge of German Works Constitution Law.
• Fluency in both English and German (written and spoken).
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with a proactive, independent, and customer-oriented mindset.
