About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to deliver people and organizational strategy through coaching and advice
- Execute talent strategies including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding
- Identify and deliver learning and development opportunities
- Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives based on survey insights
- Deliver HR operations, compliance, policy guidance, and workplace investigations
- Administer compensation practices and leverage HRIS data for decision-making
- Collaborate with HR COEs to provide comprehensive business support
- Champion continuous improvement across HR programs and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience
- Proficiency with HRIS or HCM systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of Provincial Legislation (Employment Standards, Human Rights, OH&S, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to travel up to 20% to various company locations in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- CPHR/CHRP designation
- Experience in Manufacturing or Building Products industry
