HR Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage sick leave administration for German employees, ensuring compliance with German labor laws and regulations
• Process sick leave applications into the SAP system accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate with employees, timekeepers, and health insurance companies to resolve queries
• Utilize AI and digital tools to automate repetitive HR processes, including spreadsheet and workflow optimization
• Document all transactions and customer inquiries within the HR Contact Center case management system
• Generate reports on sick leave usage and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Proactively address process gaps and escalate complex customer requests when necessary

Requirements

• Fluency in both German and English (written and oral)
• 0-3 years of experience in customer service, data processing, or Human Resources
• Proficiency in SAP or similar HR Information Systems
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including experience with macros, formulas, and automation
• Knowledge of German Labor Laws and operating agreements related to sick leave
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate or Power Apps
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (4 days in the Budapest office)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience with AI-assisted automation and chatbot development
• Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
