HR Associate

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and recruiting activities
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs
• Ensure all pre-employment and onboarding documentation is completed accurately
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures
• Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries
• Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records
• Process employee status changes including promotions, transfers, and terminations
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company requirements
• Assist with I-9 administration and employment documentation

Requirements

• 1-3 years of Human Resources, Recruiting, Payroll, or Administrative experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience working with an HRIS system
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience in construction, landscaping, manufacturing, or other field-based environments
