About the role
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring for open positions
- Administer human resource programs including benefits, attendance, and leave of absence inquiries
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, catering, and onsite logistics
- Manage onboarding communication for new employees
- Maintain monthly newsletters and team communications
- Monitor HR department email inboxes and incoming calls
- Assist with data entry, HRIS records, and personnel files
- Review and adjust employee timesheets and PTO requests weekly
Requirements
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with accuracy
