HR Assistant

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring for open positions
• Administer human resource programs including benefits, attendance, and leave of absence inquiries
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, catering, and onsite logistics
• Manage onboarding communication for new employees
• Maintain monthly newsletters and team communications
• Monitor HR department email inboxes and incoming calls
• Assist with data entry, HRIS records, and personnel files
• Review and adjust employee timesheets and PTO requests weekly

Requirements

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with accuracy
