HR Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment and onboarding by liaising with the Talent Acquisition Team, raising requisitions, and coordinating interviews.
• Administer job offers, employment contracts, and new hire paperwork including right to work and reference checks.
• Manage time and attendance administration, including maintaining accurate records and preparing KPI data.
• Assist with employee relations by preparing paperwork for disciplinary, grievance, and capability processes, and documenting meeting minutes.
• Support reward and recognition initiatives and the administration of company benefit programs.
• Maintain employee files and records in compliance with GDPR and company data management processes.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Significant experience in generalist administration, ideally within an HR function.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant HR or CIPD qualification.
