About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate HR files, records, and documentation
- Respond to HR inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and hiring
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation
- Assist with employee offboarding and terminations
- Post job openings and assist with screening and interview scheduling
- Coordinate background checks and reference verifications
- Work with payroll company to ensure smooth pay processing
- Provide administrative support to the President/CEO and Directors
- Manage office supply inventory and mail distribution
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for office management
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 3+ years of office administration or 2+ years of HR experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
