HR Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
• Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes
• Assist managers with performance management and development plans
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation
• Support learning and development initiatives
• Advise on absence management, leave, and wellbeing matters
• Assist with organisational change and restructuring processes
• Ensure HR practices comply with company policies and legal requirements
• Prepare HR reports, data analysis, and workforce information
• Support health, safety, and workplace culture initiatives
• Build positive working relationships across the organisation

Requirements

• Previous experience in an HR Advisory role
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A solutions-focused and confidential approach
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
