HR Admin

Responsibilities

• Provide general clerical and administrative support for the HR function at the plant
• Monitor break room and office supply inventories and organize orders
• Manage the attendance call-in line, record absences, and update timesheets
• Respond to verifications of employment and other HR inquiries
• Maintain the HRIS by reviewing and processing employee changes
• Provide onboarding support including scheduling appointments and background checks
• Maintain and update the company intranet
• Assist with the planning and execution of company events
• Manage the lobby area and greet visitors, candidates, and new hires
• Act as a resource to employees regarding HR programs, benefits, payroll, and policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior experience in HR or an administrative function
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
• Comfortable working in a multicultural environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
• 1+ year of experience in HR or administration
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
