Baccalaureate degree and 2 years experience OR High school and 6 years experience, Ability to carry inspection equipment, Authorization to work in the US
About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct Housing Quality Standard Inspections of public housing dwelling units
- Perform Vacant, Initials, and Biennial inspections using electronic handheld equipment
- Collect and enter inspection data into the Elite Database System
- Perform inspections independently or as part of a team
- Communicate issues clearly to supervisors
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree and two years of community work experience, OR
- High school diploma and six years of community work experience, OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to carry necessary inspection equipment
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of rental subsidies or Section 8 subsidy
- Knowledge of housing structures and housekeeping standards
- Computer proficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Bilingual skills
