HPLC Chemist

Responsibilities

• Analyze samples from various phases of the manufacturing process
• Operate and maintain HPLC, UPLC, and GC instrumentation
• Interpret data and maintain strict documentation guidelines when recording results
• Report analytical results and complete reviews of work performed by other chemists
• Ensure the HPLC Chemistry laboratory is operated in a compliant manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Microbiology, Validation, and Production
• Support the batch release process and the generation of Quality Reviews
• Assist the QA department with inspections, audits, and new product introductions
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization

Requirements

• Qualification in Chemistry or a relevant Science subject
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with HPLC instrumentation and software
• Essential experience with Waters HPLCs and Empower software
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong ability to work effectively within a team
