HPC Software Engineer 3

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex software for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems
• Analyze hardware/software trade-offs and requirements synthesis from system level to individual components
• Utilize software development and design methodologies appropriate to the environment
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document results
• Resolve software problem reports and manage configuration using CM tools
• Support processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, and large data set manipulation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 7 years of experience
• OR Master's degree in Math, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 5 years of experience
• OR 9 years of relevant experience in programs of similar scope and complexity
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with FSP security clearance
• Strong mathematical background and/or strong computer hardware background
• Working knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) tools and Web Services implementation
