Housing Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Housing Navigators to ensure timely and successful housing placements for SSVF participants
• Maintain a detailed database of landlords, rental properties, and housing partners to support placement strategies
• Ensure all housing documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with SSVF requirements and audit standards
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support to the housing team
• Monitor adherence to fair housing laws and coordinate training for staff and participants on housing rights
• Collaborate with Case Management and Enrollment teams to support coordinated service delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in housing navigation, rapid rehousing, or permanent supportive housing
• 1+ year of experience supervising staff or serving in a leadership/senior role
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws, tenant/landlord rights, and local housing regulations
• Proficiency in data systems such as HMIS, Excel, or Google Sheets
• Valid CA driver license and a reliable personal vehicle for frequent driving

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Veteran-serving programs, specifically SSVF or VA-funded services
• Familiarity with Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA) related to housing
• Experience developing or managing landlord and property databases
• Prior experience conducting staff training or participant education sessions
