Housing Court Processing Team Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of BOS workers handling the application process for new applicants, closed Family Assistance cases, and Safety Net reopens
• Assign applications to staff and review recommendations for benefit sign-offs and case entries
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly statistical reports and audits
• Provide case consultation and guidance on difficult cases within the case planning process
• Conduct team conferences and instruct new staff on FIA Housing Court Processing Team policies
• Facilitate workflow for emergency situations such as dispossesses and maintain relationships with community housing agencies
• Supervise staff interviewing homebound clients and those at risk of homelessness
• Assist in developing anti-eviction and housing intervention plans

Requirements

• High school diploma and three years of full-time experience in social/human services or related client/employment services
• OR a baccalaureate degree plus 18 months of experience as a Benefits Opportunity Specialist
• OR a baccalaureate degree plus 18 months of experience in social/human services
• Must be permanent in the Associate Benefits Opportunity Specialist or Benefits Opportunity Specialist title for at least one year
