About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments, pre-tenancy interviews, and manage housing and tenancy waitlists.
  • Deliver intensive, trauma-informed case management and wraparound support to women, children, and families.
  • Advocate for clients with the Department of Housing and other services to ensure housing stability.
  • Develop and implement client-centred case plans, including risk planning and regular reviews.
  • Support clients through practical tenancy processes such as utility setup and property maintenance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and community networks.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case notes, reports, and program data.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification (minimum Cert IV preferred, or degree/Associate Diploma) in community or human services.
  • Proven experience in case management, including assessment and trauma-informed support.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and experience working with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
  • Understanding of housing instability, homelessness, and complex needs like family violence or mental health.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems.
  • Full driver licence with no restrictions.
