Houseperson

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, hallways, elevators, and back-of-house spaces
• Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, towels, and cleaning supplies
• Collect and transport soiled linens and trash to designated areas
• Ensure housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas are organized and stocked
• Respond promptly to guest requests for extra amenities, rollaway beds, or cribs
• Assist in deep cleaning projects such as carpet shampooing and window washing
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards
• Follow all hotel safety and security protocols

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient knowledge in cleaning and sanitation standards
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods
• Verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
• Ability to understand written instructions in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or cleaning services
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
