Houseperson and Room Attendant

Responsibilities

Houseperson Duties:

• Assist housekeeping team with delivery of linen, chemicals, laundry, and deliveries
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks
• Assist in setting up split and join beds based on occupancy
• Clean public areas, back of house areas, locker rooms, and staff toilets

Room Attendant Duties:

• Clean guest rooms, storage areas, and corridors to required standards
• Replenish guest supplies and advertising materials in bedrooms and bathrooms
• Report lost property following correct procedures
• Carry out programmed and regular cleaning duties

Requirements

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is desirable
• Conversational English proficiency
• Legal working rights for Australia
• Physical fitness for manual labor, heavy lifting, and repetitive actions
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, overnights, and public holidays
