Housekeeping/Laundry Aide

Responsibilities

• Wash and dry Residents’ clothing and linens
• Disinfect and clean to support infection control
• Clean Residents’ rooms and common areas including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and bathrooms
• Follow WHMIS guidelines and safe handling procedures
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to Health & Safety Standards
• Assist coworkers and cover shifts as needed

Requirements

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in housekeeping and laundry
• Ability to operate commercial laundry and cleaning equipment
• Completed Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) within the past 6 months
• Updated TB 2 Step within the last year
