Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Housekeeping Department to meet guest demands and luxury standards.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Train, mentor, and inspire the housekeeping team in advanced cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
• Monitor and control the usage of premium housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Resolve guest concerns immediately to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation regarding room occupancy, maintenance, and lost and found items.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and security policies, including the correct use of PPE.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience within a luxury hotel environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in Opera PMS and mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written).
• Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
• A proactive, "can-do" attitude with a meticulous eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications or training in Hospitality Management or Housekeeping Expertise.
• Knowledge of Forbes and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards.
• Understanding of industry regulations and health and safety practices.
• Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
