Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate EVS staff
• Manage daily shift schedules and assign cleaning tasks
• Work hands-on with staff to ensure departmental expectations are met
• Conduct routine inspections of rooms, corridors, and public areas
• Manage inventories for cleaning supplies, linens, and room essentials
• Respond professionally to guest requests and complaints
• Communicate with maintenance teams for urgent repairs
• Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, health, and sanitation guidelines
• Inspect equipment for safety and sanitary condition

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a Health Care setting
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Knowledge of infection control procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
