Housekeeping Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the housekeeping team, including both internal staff and external cleaning companies
• Conduct daily inspections of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with Ruby’s quality standards
• Manage procurement of consumable materials and work orders while staying within the housekeeping budget
• Coordinate with the hotel maintenance team regarding necessary repairs and upkeep
• Collaborate with the corporate Rooms Division office in Munich
• Oversee floral arrangements, seasonal decorations, and plant care
• Manage the lost and found process to ensure items are returned to guests efficiently

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar housekeeping management position
• Experience working with external cleaning companies
• Background in a lifestyle hotel environment is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and order
• Cost-conscious and eco-conscious mindset
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain flexible in stressful situations
• Fluent English language skills
• Confident, professional, and positive personality
