Housekeeping

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning buildings including cabins, meeting spaces, motels, and public restrooms
• Clean and organize housekeeping closets around camp
• Manage Lost and Found and coordinate with the Hospitality Manager to return items to guests
• Assist the Hospitality Manager with restocking supplies and maintaining cleaning caddies
• Manage laundry including towels, linens, and cleaning rags
• Empty and replace outdoor trash cans as needed
• Prepare cabins, motel units, and meeting spaces for retreats
• Ensure motel units are inviting with well-stocked coffee supplies, dishes, and bedding
• Assist in various projects and respond to housekeeping calls during shifts

Requirements

• Ability to work on feet for long periods
• Ability to squat or kneel to clean toilets, showers, and baseboards
• Ability to clean up bodily fluids
• Availability to work occasional night or weekend shifts
