About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and monitor staff workload to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards
- Conduct continuous visual and written inspections of guestrooms and public spaces
- Maintain hotel par levels of inventory for guest supplies, small equipment, and linen
- Interview, hire, train, and develop staff members while managing performance appraisals
- Resolve customer complaints and anticipate potential operational issues
- Coordinate activities with other hotel departments to facilitate guest satisfaction
- Prepare forecasts and reports to assist in the development of the room budget
- Manage lost and found logs and storage
Requirements
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- At least 3 years in housekeeping management
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Experience managing in-house operated laundry operations
- Command of the English language (written and verbal)
- Ability to stand for 75% or more of the shift
