Housekeeping Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall hotel upkeep and maintenance
• Officiating executive housekeeper in absence of executive housekeeper
• Tracking guest satisfaction and ensuring guest delight
• Ensuring rooms and public areas are maintained as per aesthetics and LQA standards
• Managing major refurbishments, deep cleaning, and VIP movements
• Conducting daily briefings and auditing floor supervisors
• Approving and reordering housekeeping items and amenities
• Planning shift allocations and managing team performance
• Implementing action plans and standard operating procedures
• Coordinating with other departments and managing vendors
• Conducting training sessions and updating training manuals
• Monitoring inventory, supplies, and par stock
• Controlling expenses regarding payroll and cost per occupied room
• Ensuring preventive maintenance and quality control of contractor work

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field
• Diploma in Hotel Management or Housekeeping Operations
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in housekeeping operations
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Expertise in luxury hospitality operations and quality assurance protocols
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Proficiency in budget management, cost control, and inventory management
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance standards
