Housekeeping Linen Porter

Responsibilities

• Receive linen deliveries from external laundry vendors and verify quantity and quality
• Ensure all linen meets brand standards before distribution
• Sort, store, and distribute linen to housekeeping team members and linen closets
• Maintain a clean and organized linen room and storage areas
• Track daily usage and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor
• Handle and report damaged or stained linen for replacement or disposal
• Support the housekeeping team by collecting soiled linen from room attendants
• Follow hygiene and safety standards in handling and storing linen
• Maintain records of linen usage, stock levels, and inventory counts
• Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or concerns regarding linen quality

Requirements

• Good physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy loads
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and linen handling best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar housekeeping or linen handling role within the hotel industry
