Housekeeping Houseperson

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist Room Attendants to ensure guest rooms are prepared efficiently
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of Housekeeping storage areas
• Responsible for collecting, sorting and distributing all Housekeeping linen going to and from Fairmont Regional Laundry
• Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar environment is an asset
• Outstanding guest service skills
• Professional verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, overnights, and other non-day shifts
