Housekeeping Houseperson

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas including elevators, hallways, stairs, and vending areas
• Stock housekeeping carts and supply rooms to maintain appropriate PAR levels
• Remove laundry from rooms and chutes and restock linen on floors
• Perform deep cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and waxing floors
• Manage guest requests and complaints promptly to ensure high satisfaction
• Follow hotel safety policies and use safety equipment correctly
• Maintain a clean and clear work area to prevent obstructions

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotels or hospitals preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Ability to use commercial cleaning chemicals
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
