Housekeeping Houseperson

Responsibilities

• Support Housekeepers in maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel property, including guest rooms and common areas
• Transport dirty linens and towels to the linen room and loading dock
• Clean and dust corridors, walls, baseboards, and high-touch areas
• Deliver guest requests, machines, cribs, and air mattresses to guest rooms
• Restock linen rooms and maintain cleanliness of laundry and vending areas
• Remove trash and recycling materials to appropriate locations throughout the day
• Utilize specialized housekeeping equipment such as floor machines and extractors for deep cleaning

Requirements

• Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including boots, gloves, and goggles
• Physical ability to use cleaning tools and perform manual labor
• Ability to drive small powered equipment such as golf carts or ride-on sweepers
• Proficiency in using mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, etc.)
• Proficiency in the English language (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Proactive attitude and commitment to safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning roles (offices, hospitals, restaurants, etc.)
• Previous experience in a hospitality or tourism-related role on the Hawaiian Islands
• Basic computer knowledge
• Knowledge of the Resort and surrounding area
