Housekeeping

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect hospital patient rooms, baths, laboratories, offices, and halls following established medical sanitation procedures.
• Perform specialized cleaning tasks including germicidal usage, isolation room cleaning, and high/low dusting.
• Execute proper floor care through dry and wet mopping, vacuuming, and baseboard cleaning.
• Manage waste handling and disposal according to safety protocols.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner.
• Demonstrate CARES behaviors (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm, and Service) in all customer interactions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English to ensure safe and efficient job performance.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to walk and stand frequently throughout the shift.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, or push/pull up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to airborne pathogens, bodily fluids, and cleaning chemicals.
