Housekeeping

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect hospital patient rooms, baths, laboratories, offices, and halls following established procedures.
• Perform specialized cleaning tasks including germicidal usage, isolation room cleaning, and stainless steel surface care.
• Execute dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and bathroom sanitation (showers, tubs, and commodes).
• Manage waste handling and disposal according to safety protocols.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner.
• Demonstrate CARES behaviors (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm, and Service) in all customer interactions.

Requirements

• High school education.
• Ability to read, write, and understand labels and instructions.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to airborne pathogens and cleaning chemicals.
