About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning, dusting, waxing, scrubbing, polishing, and servicing of guest rooms following hotel protocols
- Replace bed linens, restock guest room supplies, and empty wastebaskets
- Provide guests with required linens and amenities as per the guest room legend
- Report any observed damage, hazards, repair needs, or unauthorized individuals promptly
- Submit discovered items to the Lost and Found department
- Ensure cleanliness in corridors and service zones
- Replenish and organize the cart at shift's end and prepare the linen closet
- Alert supervisors about unusual circumstances like vacant luggage or smoking in rooms
Requirements
- Motivated team player
- Ability to handle workplace problems and report issues to management
- Flexibility to pivot when necessary
- Approachable with excellent guest service skills
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours a day
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in Housekeeping
