Housekeeping Assistant

Responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms and the overall building
• Ensure patient and visitor safety, comfort, and satisfaction
• Adhere to State and Federal regulations regarding safety and infection control
• Follow cleaning schedules and instructions from supervisors
• Respond positively to requests from patients, families, and staff

Requirements

• Basic understanding of cleanliness standards
• Ability to perform various housekeeping duties
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to pass a physical examination for employment
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening and orientation
