Housekeeping Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and inspect the performance of supervisors, housepersons, and attendants
• Implement and audit Accor & Fairmont core standards for consistency
• Resolve internal and external guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
• Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
• Oversee scheduling, performance management, attendance, and payroll
• Conduct frequent inspection tours of guest rooms and public areas
• Coordinate maintenance work orders with the Engineering department
• Maintain inventory counts and supplies

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in housekeeping leadership
• Previous experience in the hotel industry
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling
• High school graduate or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in English (verbal and non-verbal)
• Computer literacy with experience in Opera and Microsoft Office
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous guest relations training
• Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish
