Housekeeping Aide

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitary and organized environments by cleaning, disinfecting, and performing facility upkeep.
• Perform billet room duties including changing linens, making beds, laundering towels, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Execute routine cleaning of common areas such as sweeping, mopping, trash collection, and appliance wipe downs.
• Conduct deep cleaning tasks including window washing, carpet cleaning, and floor stripping/waxing on a scheduled basis.
• Manage custodial supply inventories and identify facility issues to initiate maintenance work orders.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) regulations, and site-specific policies.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of decorations for meetings and special events.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of custodial experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for timekeeping and email.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods (8–10 hours).
• Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and humidity.
