Housekeeper/Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards
• Use specialized cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
• Build professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors

Requirements

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Basic understanding of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Good physical fitness and stamina for repetitive tasks like bending, lifting, and standing
• Professional and clear communication skills
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Valid working rights within Australia or New Zealand
