Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned staterooms twice daily, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms
• Replenish linens, amenities, glassware, and minibar items
• Maintain stateroom cleanliness and report any maintenance deficiencies for repair
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest staterooms
• Provide laundry pick-up and delivery, shoeshine service, and ice deliveries
• Participate in luggage duties during embarkation and disembarkation days
• Manage garbage removal in strict compliance with public health policies
• Uphold impeccable grooming and uniform standards in accordance with Viking's image guidelines

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Room Attendant or similar in a 5-star hospitality environment
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card)
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of an intense shipboard role, including standing, kneeling, and lifting heavy items
• Knowledge of public health policies and experience working with cleaning chemicals
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Fully vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus/Diphtheria, and Hepatitis A and B
