Housekeeper II

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cleaning services in a hospital environment while interacting professionally with patients and families
• Perform essential housekeeping tasks including making beds, emptying trash, wiping equipment, and cleaning furniture
• Maintain floor cleanliness through polishing, vacuuming, and other specialized floor care
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and manage the laundering of hospital linens
• Conduct daily inspections and inventory of housekeeping equipment
• Utilize cleaning chemicals safely and follow all proper usage, disposal, and safety protocols
• Demonstrate hospital values and utilize AIDET communication techniques during patient interactions

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field
• GED or High School diploma preferred
• Ability to work the 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Availability to work every 3rd weekend and two holidays per year
