Housekeeper II

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cleaning services in a hospital environment while interacting professionally with patients and families
• Perform essential housekeeping tasks including making beds, emptying trash, wiping equipment, and cleaning furniture
• Maintain floor cleanliness through polishing, vacuuming, and other floor care techniques
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and manage the laundering of hospital linens
• Conduct daily inspections and inventory of housekeeping equipment
• Utilize cleaning chemicals safely and follow proper disposal and safety protocols
• Demonstrate hospital values and AIDET communication techniques in all patient-facing interactions

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in cleaning or related services
• Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
• Availability to work 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), including every other Sunday and rotating holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma
