Housekeeper I

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, countertops, and floor surfaces
• Strip and make beds, including changing bed linens
• Respond to guest requests for assistance and items
• Report suspicious activities or hazardous conditions to Security
• Turn in lost items to Lost & Found
• Report guest room discrepancies

Requirements

• Ability to push or pull equipment weighing up to 100lbs
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces by extending arms overhead
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Effective communication skills with employees and guests
• Ability to follow instructions and meet cleaning deadlines
• Basic English comprehension for labels and guest requests

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
