Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Conduct walk-downs and clean 30+ rooms per day
• Provide full housekeeping services in guest rooms and hallways
• Make beds and change linen weekly or as needed
• Vacuum and dust all room furniture and blinds
• Wash, scrub, and sanitize bathrooms, windows, and mirrors
• Empty garbage and manage trash and recycling collection
• Wash and fold towels, linens, and bedding
• Load and unload laundry, linen trucks, and supplies
• Maintain accurate bedding records and assist with inventory

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of janitorial or housekeeping experience
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to obtain 80% or higher on the mandatory WHMIS test
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a remote lodge, hotel, or institutional setting
• Commercial cleaning experience
