Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, dormitories, and high-touch surfaces
• Make beds and change linens
• Empty garbage and recycling
• Clean and disinfect washrooms and shower facilities
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, stairwells, and common areas
• Complete room turnovers and check-outs according to schedules
• Launder, fold, and restock towels and linens
• Maintain organized housekeeping carts and storage areas
• Report maintenance issues or damages to supervisors
• Follow all safety, infection-control, and PPE requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or commercial cleaning preferred
• Experience in hotel, institutional, or camp environments is an asset
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift 35–50 pounds
• Willingness to follow all safety and sanitation procedures
