Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean assigned resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, and floors
• Vacuum all exposed areas completely, including edges
• Empty and rinse wastebaskets as needed
• Wash inside of windows as required
• Clean common areas such as elevators, halls, landings, stairs, lobbies, and activity areas
• Maintain a clean and orderly laundry room
• Store chemicals in accordance with product instructions and supervisor guidance
• Perform laundry duties for towels, bed linens, and resident clothing

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Residential or commercial cleaning experience preferred (training provided)
• Knowledge of practices surrounding the proper handling of biohazardous waste
