Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms
• Complete all cleaning tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental standards
• Use specialized cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
• Build professional relationships with guests, team members, and contractors

Requirements

• Valid working rights in Australia or New Zealand
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
• Good physical fitness and stamina for repetitive tasks like bending, lifting, and standing
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Professional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or professional cleaning roles
• Basic understanding of the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
